Thank you to our colleagues, Holmfridur “Hofie” Hannesdottir and Dr. Pierpaolo Mastrolia, for holding two virtual seminars for the Scattering Amplitudes group. Hofie, who is a graduate student at the Harvard Department of Physics talked about “S-matrix for massless particles”. Pierpaolo, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Padua provided an insight into Intersection Theory. Both topics form fundamental principles for calculating Scattering Amplitudes.
